The owner had this one built in 1982 by Sisu Boat Inc. in Dover, New Hampshire and he has been the boat's only owner. Three ship's carpenters produced the boat in three weeks after the company's architect designed it.
The owner had the transmission overhauled in February 2005 and the engine overhauled in August 2005. Since then, he estimates he has put no more than 80 hours on the engine.
The owner has used it mostly for fishing and for pleasure trips with his children and grandchildren. He has also done some light lobstering in the boat.
The strong design gives confidence in heavy seas.
"it's like a tank," the owner says. "I've been out in some rough weather with it. It handled it real easy."

The helm is enclosed on three sides, providing comfort even when the weather isn't comfortable.
The drive has a four-blade brass propeller, which helps maximize maneuverability around docks.
"I can park it like a car," the owner says.
The owner replaced the plexiglass in the windows with 10 custom-designed car windows, which are shatterproof, clearer, and easier to clean.
The owner is selling the boat because he is planning to retire from boating. Otherwise, he says, he would keep it.
